Outreach: Foodbank

Part of our way to meet the needs in the community is through operating a food bank. We give away hundreds of dollars worth of food each month to help those in need. Typical groceries in stock are non-perishable items like canned goods, pasta, boxed goods.

For more information on availability, call the office or email the church.

Want to support our food bank? We need volunteers! Contact us for more details.

HISTORY OF OUR CHURCH

Old Stone Church-1000px.jpg

What initially began as a house church by an immigrant, William Donaldson in the 1800s grew into something much more! The American Primitive Methodist Church was the first Primitive Methodist Church planted in the United States. Many building projects, and years later, our church is still alive and well today.

what is primitive methodist?

The Primitive Methodist Church is a community of evangelical Christians, united for the mutual help in perfecting of Christian character, for the promoting of vital Christianity in the earth, and aiding in extending the Kingdom of Christ throughout the world. The Primitive Methodist Denomination is a Bible-believing Christ-centered evangelical Methodist church with no ties to the United Methodist Church.

Our purpose is to preach the gospel. The Bible reveals the purpose of the Church is to enable individuals to know God as Savior and Lord through faith in Jesus Christ and to glorify Him through evangelism, edification, education, and equipping the saints for the work of the ministry.

The mission of the P.M. is, “Out of obedience to God's Great Commission, to produce disciple-making churches that will lead our world to Christ.”
